Ultimate Oceans

Ultimate Oceans

This is the introductory year of SeaTech

This is the introductory year of SeaTech. Members in the 5th through 7th grade can become junior members of SeaTech by joining Ultimate Oceans. Through hands-on education, art, and technology-based meetings, members learn about many amazing ocean animals, the habitat in which they live, and their importance in the environment. In addition, members are exposed to possible careers in marine science. Ultimate Oceans meets once each week for 1 1/2 hours.

These learning experiences take place during nine months of action-packed meetings and consist of:

-A Marine Mammal Cruise
-Scientific Tidepool Research
-A Digital Photo Safari and Sketching Field Trip
-Designing and Painting a Mural for Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley
-Using Information Technology and Computers to Develop a PowerPoint Presentation
