What made you want to become an intern at the Ocean Institute?

The money, the experience, and having a job. It would be good practice for the future.

How will this internship help you in the future?

It will help me know more what a job is like.

What do you have to do in your internship?

I’m working with my supervisor with the Girls in Ocean Science project, so it’s not just one thing. It's just helping out with stuff like that.

What has been the most challenging part about your internship?

It’s not really that hard.

What is one of your biggest accomplishments?

Nothing yet. I still have a lot of projects to get done.

Would you like to be an intern next year again? If yes, why?

Yeah, I think I would because it’s fun having a job over the summer and you like actually have something to do and you’re getting paid to do it. It’s really cool.

Would you recommend this internship to any younger interns?

Yes, 'cause it’s a good experience.
